In 1997 K-Line moved into their new 30,000 sq ft facility located in Gloucester Industrial Park in Langley, B.C.
The building was further expanded to 60,000 sq feet and includes a state-of-the-art large-object painting facility including
a "slag" based blast booth with full environmental controls and automated recovery plus a directly connected down-draft paint
booth.
The high headroom shop utilizes a 50' twin head submerged arc welder, 20' plate roll, 3/4 x 20' shear and 50' aluminum gantry twin head welder. To ensure a quality product, K-Line uses automated robotic welding of I-beams. With the aid of five 20 ton cranes, trailers are rotated 360º during final welds to ensure optimal joint connection. | |
