Junior and Senior Trailer Technicians & Installers



K-Line Trailers is a growing Trailer Manufacturer in LANGLEY, BC. We are professional, innovative, collaborative and our goal is to grow our team and create long term, stable employment!

As our Air and Electrical Division continues to grow, so does our need for Junior and Senior Trailer Technicians & Installers. We're looking for (4) highly motivated people that have a mechanical aptitude to install air, hydraulic and 12V electrical systems, along with all of the finishing items to make the trailer complete.

Responsibilities of this job include, but not limited to

  • Plumbing air, electrical and hydraulic lines
  • Assembling air and electrical valves
  • interpreting air/electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Installing accessories such as air bags, shocks, wheels, tires and fenders
  • Finishing touches such as decal and lighting installation
  • Q.C. checks and pre-delivery inspections.

Work experience is 1-2 years of relatable experience in the Commercial Trailer field for the Junior role, 4 years plus for the Senior role.

Commercial Trailer Technician (CTT) level 1 education is an asset, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Journeymen/Woman Fabricators



We've got it figured out – there are 5 different shifts available to help you strike the best work/life balance possible. Specifically we have identified Sunday to Wednesday (Shift C), and Wednesday to Saturday (Shift B) as shifts most needing people.

Requirements and Duties:

  • Requires superior knowledge of welding steel and aluminum plate
  • Fabrication from blueprints
  • 3-5 years experience at a journeyman level
  • Prior experience producing heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results
  • Open to cross training in one or more fabrication departments
  • Open to participating in mentoring others (optional)
  • Occasional overtime
  • Trade certificates or equal experience and demonstrated skills
  • Strong commitment to meeting standards
  • Maintain and follow safety policies
  • Get along well with others

Commercial Transport Mechanic



In this role your skill and know-how will be tasked for inspections, and diagnosis and repair of trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Above average welding and fabrication (5 years experience or equivalent skill)
  • Prior experience in truck trailer repair, or heavy equipment repair
  • Experience with brakes, hydraulics, 12V electrical systems
  • BC CVIP inspection/certification a plus
  • Class 3 or 1 drivers licence with air preferred
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Positive attitude and job performance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a Class 8 body builder environment an asset
